Na robu Ljubljanskega barja

The monograph comprehensively explores the village of Ig during the socialist period, i.e. from 1945 until the end of the 1980s. It presents various outlooks on socialist society, from the post-war measures implemented by the new authorities and the organisation and issues of the local economy to the selected segments of everyday life. The research is based mainly on archival and newspaper sources, as well as on some additional sources. In this regard, the lack of archival materials from the lowest level of government should be noted, as it has slightly impacted the reconstruction of the village’s overall development.
